Premier Safety LLC gained its roots in the summer of 2022, as Nick Harris and Karey Watson sat out to create a business where all of its employees would feel appreciated, respected, and truly an integral part of the team. That concept has carried over to our customers and provided us the great opportunity to continue to grow and see the business mature. Our team and our customers are without question the most important aspect of everything we do. There is nothing we do that does not have those two pieces in mind.

Meet The Founders

Premier Safety LLC was established in 2022 by industry veterans Nick Harris and Karey Watson. With a passion for ensuring the safety and security of every client, our company is dedicated to providing unparalleled service and expertise in life safety solutions. From designing and installing cutting-edge fire alarm systems to offering comprehensive security solutions, we prioritize the protection of what matters most to you.

Nick Harris

Nick has been in the low voltage industry since 2010 and has developed countless contacts with Electrical Contractors and General Contractors in the construction industry and bid market throughout the Midsouth area. He has been responsible for designing fire alarm and low voltage systems, estimating those projects, selling, and overseeing the project management duties of those projects. Since starting Premier Safety with Karey, he has taken over the duties of building a sales/design team for low voltage systems. Nick and his wife Amber, have 6 children. Lyndsey, Alivia, Avery, Aubree, Jake, and Levi. Their time away from the company is mostly spent on the ball fields watching their kids compete in an array of sports.

Karey Watson

Karey got his start in the low voltage field in 1998, as an entry level apprentice with a local low voltage provider. Over the years, he has been a part of many large projects w/ intense specifications. In 2017 Karey moved into management as the Operations Manager for a local low voltage provider seeing gains in the workforce to continuously meet the demand for the workload. Karey currently holds the TN Designated Qualifying Agent for Premier Safety and is certified NICET IV in Fire Alarm Systems. Karey and his wife Danielle have 4 children, Jacob, Isabel, Hattie, and Georgia Swain. In his free time, he can be found attending a plethora of events with his children, somewhere in the backyard, likely around the pool, or riding motorcycles.
